JAG Entry Scheme (JAC 33) Recruitment 2024

JAG Entry Scheme JAC 33 for law graduates both male and female Judge Advocate General Branch of Army. The basic requirement is that you should be law graduate. The candidate is selected for Short Service Commission for the period of 14 year which can be expanded further.

The candidates are called for interview and put through two stage selection procedure who clear stage I will go to stage II and those who do not clear it are sent them back.

SSB interview is a five day affair.

Application form generally opens in June and close in July 2024

JAG Entry Scheme Educational Qualification Minimum

You must have 55% aggregate marks in their LLB Degree (three years professional after graduation or five years after 10 plus 2) examination. In addition, CLAT PG  Score is mandatory for all candidates (including LLM qualified and LLM appearing candidates) who apply for courses starting in a particular year. The candidates should be eligible for registration as an advocate with Bar Council of India/State. Candidate should be from a College/University recognized by Bar Council of India

What is Mandatory?

The candidate has to get their CLAT PG 2023 result verified at the Selection Centre prior to conduct of SSB. Without this he/she cannot appear for SSB interview.

Selection Procedure

The application form submitted by the candidates will be shortlisted. The Integrated HQ of MOD (Army) does this process. After shortlisting of applications, candidates who are shortlisted will be informed through their email.

After allotment of Selection Centre, candidates will have to log in to the website and select their SSB dates which are available on a first come first serve basis initially. Thereafter, it will be allotted by the Selection Centres. The option to select the dates for SSB by candidates may be forfeited due to occurrence of any exceptional circumstance/events.

Selection Centres

Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centres,

• Allahabad(UP),
• Bhopal(MP),
• Bangalore (Karnataka)
• Kapurthala (PB).

Call up letter for SSB interview will be issued by respective Selection Centre on candidate’s registered e-mail id and SMS only

Merit list

A merit list will be prepared on the basis of SSB interview. Those who are selected will be handed over the appointment letter
