Instruction Before Start PET & PST Exam
- Before start of PET & PST, the candidates will undergo through verification of identity including Biometric capture.
- Biometric identification of candidates can also be verified at any stage of recruitment.
- It is candidates responsibility to check before hand that the biometric machines are able to capture the fingerprint image. In Case, if the biometric machine is not able to capture the fingerprint image due to Mehndi, wax, etc. Then, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination.
- Failure in biometric verification at any stage will lead to cancellation of candidates.

Phase-I Exam Pattern
Phase -I exam includes PET (Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and PST (Physical Standard Test).

Candidates who Qualify in PET will be screened for Height, Weight and Chest Measurement.
Phase -II Exam Pattern
Candidate who qualify in Physical Standard Test (PST) will be required to undergo written examination. The Admit Card will release for this written exam by authority. Candidates can download admit card by clicking on https://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.

Phase IV: Practical Test
Candidates who qualified PET, PST, Written Examination and Documents verification Stage will appear in Practical (Skill) Test. This test will carry 50 marks and qualifying marks for all candidates shall be 50%.
Note – Skill Test will qualifying in Nature Only.
