IPMAT 2024 Registration Date

IPMAT 2024 Registration date-(IPMAT) 2024 registration last date is 26 March 2024 1-April 2024. If you have not applied till date you can apply now. IIM have the edge over the other institutes and the students of IIMs are in demand in the market.

The exam will be conducted for an intake is 150.

Percentage of Marks

The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in X and XII Standard would be calculated based on the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulation. In case the candidates are awarded letter grades or grades points instead of marks, the conversion of grades to the percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the Board/ Competent Authority explaining the method of conversion from where they have obtained the certificate.

Appearing Candidate- Candidates who are likely to complete standard XII/ HSC or equivalent by the end of July 31, 2024, can also apply,

Age: Candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2004 (5 years of relaxation to the candidates from SC/ST/PwD category will be given i.e. born on or after August 01, 1999).

• Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have passed Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examination in 2022, 2023 or appearing in 2024.

• Standard X/SSC or Equivalent: The candidate should have passed standard X/ SSC.

Application Fee

4,130/- (Rupees Four Thousand One Hundred Thirty only, inclusive of GST @18%)

SC/ST/PwD Rs.2,065 plus 18 per cent GST

Selection Procedure

The candidates will be selected based on overall performance in the Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Any candidate who fails to appear either in the Aptitude Test in a Personal Interview or both shall not be considered for selection.

The selection process is as follows: Stage 1: The candidates satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria should submit their application online as described previously in sl. no. 2 i.e. Application procedure.

Based on the applications received, candidates satisfying minimum eligibility criteria will be called for the Aptitude Test (AT) to be conducted across 34 cities

Stage 3: In this stage, the eligible pool for Stage-4 {i.e. Personal Interview (PI)} is created considering only the candidates having positive raw scores and a minimum mark in each of the three sections of the Aptitude Test. The minimum cut-off mark in each section will be decided by the Admissions Committee. The minimum cut-off mark in each section will be based on the categories of applicants. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are rejected at this stage.

Stage 4: Sufficient number of candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview (PI) from the eligible pool (refer Stage- 3) for each category (General, EWS, NC-OBC, SC, ST and PwD) using the merit list generated based on Aptitude Test Score (ATS) as mentioned in Table-1:

Syllabus

  • There will be three sections in the Aptitude Test namely Quantitative Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ),
  • Quantitative Ability (Short Answer Question-SA) and Verbal Ability (Multiple Choice Question-MCQ).
  • Each question will carry 4 marks.
  • There will be a negative marking of 1 negative mark for each wrong answer except Quantitative Ability (SA) Section (these questions will not carry any negative marking
