Internship at IITs

Internship at IIT-The IITs offers internship to Non IIT or IITs. It’s a short term internship ranging from one and half month to two months. The candidates who are selected for this internship get internship amount of Rs.15000 or little lesser according to IIT. The objective of SURGE Program is to develop the agenda of undergraduate research and promotes the culture of research and interdisciplinary education among the new generation

Good time apply for summer internship-Generally it starts in the month of Janaury to February every year. But IIT Bombay internship application starts in August

Eligibility

(i) B.Tech/BE/B-Arch/BS (3rd year completed),

(ii) Five year degree program (3rd year completed, 4th year completed)

(iii) B.Sc/B.A. (2nd year completed)

(iv) M.Sc. 2-Year (1st year completed)

Selection Process

• a. The selection procedure consists of a preliminary screening of applications followed by an interview (online mode) department/mentor faculty wise at the option of the concerned Department.
• b. Selection may depend upon consistently brilliant academic performance (Relative rank I the class/University), work carried out by the student besides his regular academic work, participation/ recognition in competitions such as Olympiads, National Talent Search Exams, and performance in the interview
