Eligibility Criteria
- Degree from a recognized university or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in all years. Candidates in their final year of study can also apply, provided they have secured 50% marks in the first two/three years of their three/four-year degree course.
- 19 to 25 years as on January 1, 2025. (age will be count on April 01, 2025)
- NCC Certificate: Candidates must have served in the NCC’s Senior Division/Wg for at least two/three years and possess an NCC ‘C’ certificate.
- Marital Status – Unmarried

Selection Process
The selection process for the 58th SSC NCC Special Entry Scheme Course consists of
- Shortlisting of Applications- Candidates will be shortlisted based on their educational qualifications, NCC certificate, and other criteria.
- SSB Interview – Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an SSB interview, which will be conducted in two stages.
- Medical Examination – Candidates who clear the SSB interview will undergo a medical examination.
Training and Commission
Selected candidates will undergo 49 weeks of training at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. Upon successful completion of training, candidates will be granted a Short Service Commission in the Indian Army.
