Indian Army Dental Corps Recruitment 2025

The Indian Army will announce the Dental Corps Recruitment 2025 soon, inviting applications from eligible candidates to join the esteemed Dental Corps as commissioned officers. The application process is set to commence soon. To Apply Candidates must have passed Class X/ SSLC/ ICSE Certificate/ Birth Certificate and Candidates must have appeared in the NEET (MDS) 2024.

Shortlisting will be based on NEET MDS 

All eligible BDS and MDS candidates who wish to apply for a Short Service Commission (SSC) grant must take the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET-MDS, administered by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare annually during the year of application for SSC through the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in order to be admitted to various postgraduate courses. When completing the NEET MDS application form, they should select the option to join the AD Corps as an SSC Officer

Interview

In response to the annual advertisement released by the Directorate General Dental Services, candidates must submit their applications along with their NEET-MDS score card. As a result, candidates are asked to save both their score card and their admit card for future use. Candidates who get the short list will be invited to interview in front of a properly established Selection Board in New Delhi. All applicants who attended the interview will have their final merit list for SSC Grant determined solely on their performance during the interview.

Medical Examination 

A properly established Medical Board of Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) will require all candidates who pass the interview to have a medical examination in order to determine their medical fitness in accordance with established medical commissioning standard.

Service period for SSC officers

The tenure for SSC officers is an initial contractual period of 05 years, which is further extendable by 05 years and another 04 years based on laid down criteria.

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Candidates must be BDS (with minimum 55% marks in final year BDS)/MDS having passed from a College/University recognized by Dental Council of India (DCI).
  • He/she should have completed one-year Compulsory Rotatory Internship, as mandated by DCI, by 31 Mar 2025 & must be in possession of Permanent. 

Important Documents for Document Verification 

  • Matriculation (Class X)/ SSLC/ ICSE certificate/ Birth certificate issued by municipality as valid certificate of proof of age. 
  • NEET (MDS) Admit Card.
  • NEET (MDS) Score card
  • Final year BDS Mark Sheets (Part I & Part II in case Final year exam is held in two parts)
  • Candidates should have secured a min of 55% marks in final BDS (both the documents to be uploaded as a single document) or should have an MDS degree. 
  • BDS/MDS Provisional Pass Certificate/Degree Certificate. 
  • Compulsory Rotatory Internship completion certificate/ Certificate from the Principle/Dean of the college certifying the date of completion of internship. 
  • Permanent/Provisional State Dental Council registration certificate 
  • Valid passport/Nationality Certificate/ Domicile/Nativity Certificate/ voter I-Card issued by Election Commission of India.
  • Valid Passport/ Nationality Certificate/ Domicile/ Nativity Certificate/ Voter ID Card issued by election Commission of India. 
  • In Case of any change in name of Candidates after matriculation (10th Class) Necessary notification or any other authority clearly Highlighting your change of name.
  • Photograph to be uploaded along with the application form. (Five additional passport size photographs, in hard copy, will be required for candidates who are shortlisted to undergo medical examination.)
