IIT Kanpur C3i launches cyber security vocational programme with CSJM Kanpur- The programme was launched in collaboration with Chhatrpati Shahu ji Maharaj. The MOU in this regard signed today June 6 in IIT Kanpur.
This is a six month programme that will equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the ever-growing field of cybersecurity. This course covers system security, malware analysis, network security, cryptography, and IoT security
How IIT Kanpur Help
- C3iHub will provide Virtual Lab for course practical, technical help desk support for students, certification of participation/completion of the course and final assessment results for all students
This course covers system security, malware analysis, network security, cryptography, and IoT security. This is a completely online course providing students with both fundamental knowledge and hands-on experience. An integral part of the training is customized labs at every student’s desk through the Cyber Range. It is designed to provide students with hands-on experience and industry-relevant knowledge, preparing them for successful careers in the cybersecurity domain.
The MoU signing and exchange ceremony, held on June 6th, 2024, was attended by dignitaries including Prof Manindra Agrawal, Director, IIT Kanpur and Prof. Vinay Pathak, Vice Chancellor, CSJMU along with other dignitaries including Principals from 20 affiliated colleges. Dr. Tanima Hajra, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Interim CEO of C3iHub, along with Mr. Anil Kumar Yadav, Registrar of CSJMU, and Mr. Vivek Mishra, Chief Executive Officer of CSJMIF, signed the MoU.

Whereas, CSJMU is responsible to facilitate the smooth execution of the program and CSJMIF will provide a platform to run the Program. The initiative has an ambitious target of enrolling up to 50,000 students, making it a significant step towards fostering cybersecurity expertise in India.
