IIT Four year BTech or 5 year Btech: which is in Demand?

The registration process in IIT which is done through JEE Advanced 2025 will open when the JEE Mains 2025 result is out. Engineering a noble name in India where lakhs of students try hard to get into.The application process for getting a seat in engineering colleges is going nationally and state level.

When a student get its seat its in IITs which course he/she chooses during the studies. We have tried to look at the trend of plaement in these IITs. Through placement season has not been good in IITs in the last few years.

Integrated Btech a new trend that started has its advantage, the comapanies that came for the recruitment has picked up integrated students.

Which course you should use in Your IIT?

There are 23 IITs existed in India first one was IIT Kharagpur. The students have two options  of pursuing BTEch from IIT. First is the 4 years degree and another one which was added at the later stage integrated engineering degree of five years.

JEE Advanced 2025 registration starts in April

We have tried to explore the possibility and placement of past three years from the NIRF ranking site. These datas are submitted by the IITs from their official website to the Ministry of Education.

We have explored the data of IIT Madras , IIT Bombay ,IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee,IIT Kharagpur. We have tried to check the other IITs such as IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad,IIT Indore and IIT Gandhinagar. These Institutes do not have data for Integrated courses.

Finding

The finding came out from the data that BTEch five year is a better choice looking at the packages offered to them and more number of placement comparing to 4 years degree.
