Indian Institute of Plantation Management Bangalore offer PG Diploma programme in the following areas

Mode of Admission

  • IIPM’s Professional Aptitude Test (IPAT)  examination is compulsory and will be conducted offline. The  test will consist of total  100 questions (which  includes, logical  reasoning, general  awareness, quantitative  technique, language communication, and  subject matter (i.e.,  agriculture and allied),  of 1 mark and 90 minutes duration.  There will be no negative  marking.
  • A cumulative score will be prepared based on students’ performance in the first four 8 components of the above  table (i.e., SSLC, HSC,  UG, and IPAT).
  • A qualifying list will be  prepared for the shortlisted students  whose score is above the minimum required  cumulative score. These students will be called for GD and PI on specified  dates. 
  • The merit list will  be prepared to take into  consideration all categories of applicants  (i.e., GEN, EWS, OBC  (non-creamy layer), SC,  ST, and PWD). The GD  and PI will normally be  done on the IIPM, Bengaluru campus.
  • The final merit list will be prepared based on the performance of the shortlisted students in the GD & PI rounds.
  • It is the responsibility of the candidates to ascertain and ensure that  they possess the requisite qualifications  for admission. Having  been admitted  provisionally does not  mean acceptance of eligibility. Final eligibility  for admission  will be decided by IIPM.
  • A multi-stage selection procedure will be followed for admission as  described below: Each candidate will be assigned a score based on  their performance in  various components as  detailed in the following  table.

IIPM Bangalore PGDM Admission 2025-26: Eligibility program wise

PGDM Agribusiness and Plantation Management

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of candidates who belong to  scheduled caste (SC)/ scheduled tribe (ST), and  persons with disabilities  (PWD) category] from a  recognized University or  Institution. NRIs, PIOs and  foreign students are eligible to  apply

PGDM-ABPM Programme: Preference will be given to candidates with Bachelor’s
Degree in Agriculture and Allied Sciences viz. Horticulture, Forestry, Sericulture, PostHarvest Technology and other related disciplines.
b) Candidates who are appearing for final semester exam are also eligible to apply.

The valid score of the above examinations must be submitted by June 30, 2025

CAT/XAT/MAT/ATMA/CMAT/GATE (GATE-Applicable only for PGDM-FPBM Candidates) Scorecard.

Ensure that the following documents are uploaded: (Maximum upload size-1 MB)

  • Candidate Photo, Signature.
  • 10th/SSC Marks Sheet.
  • c. 12th/HSC/Diploma Marks Sheet. (Diploma candidates attach individual semester wise marks sheet in single Pdf file.)
  • UG Marks Sheet (Attach individual semester wise marks sheet up to 6th Semester in single PDF file.)
    (If UG is of 3 Years Degree attach up to 4th Semester)
  • Present Study Certificate.
  • Category Certificate & Income Certificate for SC/ST/EWS/PH/OBC.
    (For OBC Candidates, Certificate should be of Non-Creamy layer

(Note: Upload Application form/ acknowledgement / admit card of respective exam taken if scorecard is not available. Once you get the score card, forward the same through mail to applications@iipmb.edu.in
