Ignou Scheme for Fee support for SC/ST. The ignou is launching the fee support scheme for the students of reserved category student especially SC and ST. The scheme is meant for fresh students of following courses. The scheme is meant for fresh students of following courses.

Bachelor of Arts (BAM) Rs.4400

Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMF) The Fee is Rs.4400

Bachelor of Science (BSCM) Rs.5900

This scheme is being for the admission for July 2024 cycle.

Who can avail of this IGNOU scheme?

The students whose parents/guardian income does not exceed Rs.2.5 lakh during the last financial year as per government of India norms.

For this fresh students must submit income certificate issued by the authority as decided by the respective state government and also upload their Aadhar Card

IGNOU Scheme Fee

Candidates who want to avail this fee waiver scheme should pay the registration fee of Rs.300 for July admission 2024

Another fee which is development fee of Rs.200 will be charged from SC/ST students who will be availing the fee waiver for admission in July 2024.

Re-Registration of SC/ST Students

SC/ST students who took the exemption of fee during fresh admission shall be eligible for exemption of fee while re-registration  in July 2024 cycle. The students who are not opting for the fee exemption may avail the benefits of Social Welfare Schemes provided by the respective state government/Central government.

How to avail

The students, whoever want to avail the benefit of the scheme should keep following points in mind

  1. First you need to select your category carefully such as SC/ST while filling admission form
  2. At the time of admission, there will be a question in application form “whether you want to waiving fee? You need to select yes to get benefit of the fee waiving scheme.
  3. You need to mention un-employed under the category of employment status
  4. You need to provide income certificate to show the income range which should not be more than 2.5 lakh per year
