What is the Test Pattern of IFTK B.Des 2025?
General Ability Test (GAT)
- Quantitative Ability is a sub-test, designed to determine the quantitative skills of the candidates. The subtest consists of questions on addition, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, rate of interest, work and task, ratio proportion, and distance.
- The aim of Communication Ability sub-test is to judge the English language skills of the candidate in day-to-day communication. It includes questions on synonyms, antonyms, words with corresponding meanings, singular, plural, one-word substitutes, idioms and phrases, correct spellings, etc.
- English Comprehension sub-test will judge one’s ability to comprehend the meaning of a given passage.
- The goal of the Analytical Ability sub-test is to determine the candidate’s inference and logical reasoning.
- The General Knowledge and Current Affairs sub-test will test the candidate’s knowledge regarding current affairs.
Creative Ability Test (CAT)
The goal of CAT is to judge the skill, power of observation, innovation, and design ability of the candidate. An important aspect of the test is the use of color and drawing skills of the candidate.
