The HVF AVADI (Heavy Vehicles Factory) will start registration process for eligible Graduate & Diploma holders in Engineering and Non Engineering Graduates (passed during 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024), hailing from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Puducherry for undergoing one year Apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.

HVF AVADI Recruitment 2024 Age Criteria
- Age limit will be followed as per Apprenticeship Rules.
- Reservation for vacancies also provide for SC/ST/OBC/PwD.
Duration of training:
- The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973, and/or having one year or more experience are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
- Travel Expenses – No TA / DA will be paid for attending certificate verification
- Boarding/ Lodging – No boarding or lodging expenses are admissible.
Selection procedure:
- Shortlisting – Shortlisting of candidates will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for Certificate verification at Heavy vehicles Factory, Avadi, Chennai.
