HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: . The Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Assistant Professors (college cadre) in various subjects in Higher Education Department, Haryana-advt no 42/60

Candidates can apply online only by registering regn.hpsc.gov.in directly OR through http://hpsc.gov.in for submitting their online application form.

There are total of 1273 vacancies to be filled in various departments. The selection will be made on the basis of written test those who are selected for next state of selection. Candidates have to secure minimum 25 percent marks in the qualifying exam.

In case of Music, Physical Education and Fine Arts, Skill rest will be held first and foremost. Those who qualify the Skill rest, will be allowed to participate in the next stage of the recruitment process

Education Essential Qualification

(all subjects except, Fine Arts and Mass Communication).

Candidates have Master Degree with 55% marks

Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in Higher Education.

The National Eligibility Test (NET) conduoted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or a similar test accredited by the IJGC, like SLET/SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D Degree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Au,ard of M.Phil / Ph.D Degree) Regulation, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET

ASSISTANT PROFESSORS in Mass Communication

Master Degree with 55 percent

Desirable

Ph.D degree in Communication/ Mass Conrmunication/ Joumalism from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University. (ii) Two years full time teaching / research experience in any area of Mass Communication (Newspapers accredited with ABC, National News Agencies, Radio or Television, Film Media, reputed advertising agencies, public relation officers of the Governments, public sector undertaking and established industrial and commercial house

Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit on 10 standard or Higher standard-The National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) or the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/ SET or who are or have been awarded a Ph.D f)egree in accordance with the University Grant Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil / Ph.D Degree) Regulation, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time as the case may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET

Relaxation in Marks

Relaxation of 5% is granted from 55 % fo 50% of marks to the Ph.D degre e holders who have passed their Master’s degree in relevant subjects prior to 19’h Sept.l99l

Relaxation of Marks for SC/ST,Haryana backward class A and B and PWD

5 percent marks relaxation for candidate with bachelor or master degree
