The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) HP SET 2024 conducts the Himachal Pradesh State Eligibility Test (SET) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the position of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges in the state. to be eligible for the HP SET 2024.

HP SET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

• Master’s degree in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science & Applications from recognized universities by UGC.
• With Minimum marks 55% for Categories General / Unreserved / General-EWS.
• 50% marks for SC/ ST/OBC/ PWD Candidates (Resident of Haryana).

The HP SET 2024 examination will consist of two papers, Paper-1 and Paper-2, with each paper carrying 100 marks. Paper-1 will be a general paper, consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions on teaching and research aptitude, while Paper-2 will be subject-specific, consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions

HP SET 2024 Marking Scheme:

1. Each question carries 02 (two) marks.
2. There is no negative marking for incorrect response.
3. If a question is found to be incorrect and the same is dropped / scrapped, then two marks (+2) will be awarded to all the candidates.
