Youth have been urged by governments and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) to actively participate in decision-making and the implementation of the post-2015 agenda. In line with this commitment, GO4Youth was introduced during the GREEN Olympiad. This annual multiple-choice examination assesses students’ environmental consciousness, behaviour, and aptitude. The examination takes an interdisciplinary approach and covers topics such as Mission LiFE and other national priority schemes. Its purpose is to involve students in a structured activity through an innovative competitive process, which evaluates their level of awareness and understanding of climate change, pollution, waste management, sanitation, preservation of biodiversity, management of biological resources, forest and wildlife conservation, and sustainable development and living.GO4Youth is endorsed by University Grants Commission (UGC), Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) and Ministry of Education (MoE), Government of India.
The pre condition of participating this Olympiad is that a candidate should be enrolled in Higher Education
