The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the exam dates and admit card release for the Graduate Aptitude Test-Biotechnology (GAT-B) 2025. The exam is conducted for admission to DBT-supported postgraduate programs in biotechnology and allied areas. Candidates who have applied for GAT-B 2025 can expect the admit card to be released soon on the official website, dbt.nta.ac.in. The exam dates has been announced. The Exam will be held on April 20, 2025.

GAT B 2025 – Marking Scheme for Section A
- The Exam will Conducted in CBT Mode Only.
- Medium of Question Paper – English Only.
- There Shall be total of 60 questions in Question Paper.
- Exam Topics – 10+2th Level Subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology.
- There Shall be 1 mark is awarded for each correct answers.
- Negative marking – 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
GAT B 2025 – Marking Scheme for Section B
- The Exam will be held in CBT Mode Only.
- There shall be total of 100 Questions in Question Paper.
- Exam Subjects – Basic Biology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology and allied.
- There shall be 3 marks is awarded for each correct answer.
- Negative Marking – 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Important Instruction related to GAT B 2025 Admit Card
- Print copy of Admit Card downloaded from NTA Website.
- Admit Card will be issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions.
- Candidate has to download the Admit Card from NTA website and appear for Examination(s) at the given Centre on Date, timing and examination as indicated in their Admit Card.
- No candidate will be allowed to appear at the Examination center, on Date and timing other than that indicated in their Admit Card.
- In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, they may approach the Help Line between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm or write to NTA at dbt@nta.ac.in for GAT-B2025.
- Candidates are advised to read the instructions on Admit Card Carefully and follow them during the conduct of examination.
