For India South Africa was a good bet
New Zealand stormed into the final after defeating South Africa in the semis yesterday in Gaddafi Stadium Pakistan. New Zealand has put its highest score in one day of 363 which SA could not achieve.
But looking at the SA performance in the final it would have been good chance for India to claim its champion trophy
Despite being one of the strongest teams in world cricket, South Africa has often faced heartbreak in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup, including several semi-final losses, earning them the unfortunate tag of “chokers” in crucial matches.
For India South Africa was a good bet
It has been seen in the past that SA if batted second has been in trouble in achieving the target put before it.
So as the performance of the India in Champion is going good we hope that it claims its trophy and do not face the world cup debacle when it won its all the matches and lost in the final
Though India has been the first to reach the ICC Champion Trophy thrice which no other country has achieved
