FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduation Examination) a Screening test is conducted to award a license permanent or provisional to practice in India for MBBS degree holders from outside India. They are Indian Citizens of OCI who obtains the MBBS degree overseas
Note- No student should be eligible for appearing in FMGE on the basis of educational qualification (in any subject) acquired in Pakistan.

Certificates required for Apply to FMGE Dec 2024
- A foreign medical graduate with a primary medical qualification.
- The Provisional Pass Certificate/ Degree Certificate of their Primary Medical Qualification duly apostilled/ attested by Indian Embassy concerned.

Important Instructions Related to Photographs
- Size of photograph: Minimum 35×45 mm
- photograph should be occupied with the face & head of the candidate and Colour photograph with white background.
- The photograph should not have reflection or shadow on the face with red eyes.
- The photograph needs to be printed on a high quality paper with at least 600 dpi Resolutions.
- The photograph must not have kinks, scratches and stains.
Exam Pattern
- There shall be objective type Questions
- The Examination Consists of one paper, Comprising of 300 multiple choice Questions.
- The Paper shall be delivered in two parts to be taken in a single day with each part comprising of 150 questions to be attempted in 150 minutes.
- There shall be no negative marking

Minimum Qualifying marks
- A candidate shall be declared as having passed only if he/she obtains a minimum of 150 marks out of 300 in the examination.
