 KEAM Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) is a state level admission process that is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE).  Admission is offered to Engineering, Architecture, MBBS, BDS, Homoeopathic, Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, Fisheries, Co-operation & Banking, Climate Change & Environmental Science, B.Tech Biotechnology and Pharmacy Courses.

Admission Process
Engineering Courses
Engineering rank is prepared by giving an equal weightage of 50:50 to the score obtained in the Entrance Examination conducted by CEE for Engineering and the marks obtained in the final year of the qualifying examination for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together, after effecting the standardization procedure as described in Clause 9.7.4 (b)(iii).
Pharmacy Course
B.Pharm Rank list will be prepared, on the basis of Index mark calculated from the score obtained in Paper-1 (Physics & Chemistry) of the Engineering Entrance Examination
Medical & Allied Courses                        
Admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUMS, Agriculture, Forestry, Fisheries, Veterinary, Co-operation & Banking, Climate Change & Environmental Science, B.Tech Biotechnology courses will be based on NEET-UG. Those candidates who wish to be considered for the allotment in Medical & Allied Courses in Kerala State must qualify  NEET-UG.
Architecture course
The Rank list will be prepared by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations by giving equal weightage to the marks obtained in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted by the Council of Architecture, and the marks in the qualifying examination
Eligibility
MBBS and BDS
  • Passed subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually at the Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or examinations recognized equivalent thereto.
  • Percentage-A minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology are eligible.
BAMS/ BHMS courses
  • Passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually at the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or examinations recognized equivalent thereto.
  • Percentage-A minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible
BSMS course:
  • Passed subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually at the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examinations recognised equivalent thereto.
  • Percentage-A minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible.
  • Important-The candidates should have passed 10 or 12th standard with Tamil as one of the languages or the candidate after been admitted to the BSMS course, shall have to pass the Tamil language course during the first year of their professional degree course.
BUMS course
  • Passed subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually at the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or examinations recognized equivalent thereto.
  • Percentage-A minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology are eligible.
  • Important- The candidates should have passed 10th or 12th standard with Urdu or Arabic or Persian language as a subject or clear the test of Urdu in the Entrance Examinations conducted by University or Board or Registered society authorised by the Govt. to conduct such examination or the Pre-Tib Examination of one year duration.
B.Sc.(Hons.) Agri., B.Sc.(Hons) Forestry, B.Sc (Hons.) Cooperation & Banking, B.Tech Biotechnology (under (KAU), BFSc courses:
  • Passed subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or examinations recognised equivalent.
  • Percentage- 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together are eligible
B.Sc.(Hons) Climate Change & Environmental Science
  • Passed subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or examinations recognised equivalent thereto,
  • Percentage- 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology put together are eligible. Candidates should have studied Mathematics as a subject in the Plus Two level.
BVSc. & AH Course:
 Candidates who have passed in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology at the qualifying examination and obtained 50% marks in aggregate of these subjects are eligible
Engineering courses:
  • Passed Higher Secondary Examination, kerala with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects.
  • Percentage-At-least 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission.
  • In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered.
  • In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered.
  • In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility
Architecture course:
Passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects or passed 10+3 Diploma Examinations with Mathematics as compulsory subject are eligible for Architecture course.
Important-
Only those candidates who score the minimum eligibility marks as per the Information Brochure of National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) 2022 will be considered for admission to B. Arch. course.
There is no provision for lateral admission to the second year or at any stage during the 5 year course in Architecture
B.Pharm course
Passed 10+2 examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examinations equivalent thereto with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually are eligible
AGE
  • Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2022. No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed. There is no upper age limit for Engineering, Architecture and B.Pharm Courses.
  • For Medical and Medical Allied courses, the upper age limit will be as per the Information Bulletin of NEET (UG)- 2022.
