ICAR AIEEE.The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is the apex body for coordinating, guiding, and managing research and education in agriculture in the entire country under the aegis of DARE, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.The Admission to 11 Bachelor degree programmes of four years duration in the subjects is offered to Indian Nationals based on the merit-rank in ICAR AIEEA(UG). All  theUndergraduate Degrees in the disciplines of Agricultural Sciences have been declared as professional degrees

Not more than 40% candidates from any one state shall be admitted in any agricultural university in a particular subject and category.

The AIEEA (UG)  will be conducted at 178 Cities

Following exams are conducted for admission by NTA

  • ICAR AIEEA (UG) - is All India Entrance Examination for (a) admission to 15% seats in Bachelor Degree Programme in Agriculture and Allied Sciences ( Other than veterinary sciences) at Agricultural Universities (100% seats at NDRI Karnal, RLBCAU Jhansi & DR. RPCAU PUSA) and (b) award of National Talent Scholarship in Agriculture & Allied Science subjects (other than Veterinary Science).
  • ICAR AIEEA (PG) - is All India Entrance Examination for (a) admission to 25% seats in Master Degree Programme in accredited Agricultural Universities (100% seats at IARI, IVRI, NDRI, CIFE, RLBCAU Jhansi & DR. RPCAU, PUSA) and (b) Award of ICAR-PG Scholarship/National Talent Award (PGS) in Agriculture & Allied Sciences.
  • ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) - is All India Competitive Examination for (a) admission to 25% seats in accredited Doctoral Degree Programmes of accredited Colleges of accredited Universities under ICAR-AU System (100% seats of ICAR Deemed Universities and Dr. RPCAU Pusa, ICAR-DUs in Doctoral Degree Programmes) and Award of ICAR-JRF/SRF (Ph.D) in Agriculture & Allied Sciences.

Eligibility

Candidates must have passed 10+2 Senior Secondary Examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education or any other examination 

Percentage-50% marks in aggregate for General, OBC (NCL), UPS, EWS categories, 40% marks in aggregate for SC, ST, Third Gender, PwD categories

Candidate having a compartment/supplementary in any of the subjects will not be eligible unless proof of having cleared the examination with requisite percentage asabove is available

Candidate already appeared in the qualifying examination enumerated above, can also apply but would be required to submit evidence of having satisfied the conditions latest at the time of counselling/admission in the allotted university

Step to follow for applying online

Follow the 4 steps given below to Apply Online:

Step-1: Apply for Online Registration using unique Email Id and Mobile No. v

Step-2: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.

Step-3: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (file size: 10 kb - 200 kb), Candidate’s Signature (file size: 4 kb – 30 kb) and Thumb impression (file size: 3 kb-30 kb) in JPG/JPEG format. v

Step-4: Pay fee using SBI/Canara/HDFC/ICICI/Paytm Payment Gateway through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.

In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of fee then the transaction is cancelled, and amount will be refunded to the candidate’s account.

 

However, the candidate has to make another transaction, in case the Confirmation Page is not generated. v All the 4 Steps can be done together or at separate times.


National Talent Scholarship

Conditions for the award of National Talent Scholarship (NTS) National Talent Scholarship would be available through the Agricultural University concerned, to every student admitted on ICAR seat at any Agricultural University in a state outside his/her domicile state.

The ICAR-AU System of India has 74 Agricultural Universites comprising 63 State Agricultural, Veterinary, Horticultural and Fisheries Universities (SAUs), 4 ICAR-DUs, viz. IARI, IVRI, NDRI and CIFE, 3 Central Agricultural Universities (CAU, Imphal, Dr. RPCAU, Pusa and RLB CAU, Jhansi), 4 Central Universities (CU) having Faculty of Agriculture (BHU, AMU, Viswa Bharati and Nagaland University). The National Agricultural Research, Education and Extension System (NAREES) of India is one of the largest in the world, admitting more than 28000 students at UG level and over 17,500 students at Master’s and Doctoral level annually, in different disciplines of Agricultural and Allied Sciences.
Test is administered in 5 subject areas divided into groups.-
  • Physics (P),
  • Chemistry (C),
  • Mathematics (M
  • Biology (B),
  • Agriculture (A). 
Candidates need to choose 1 subject group out of four available groups made out of these subjects, viz.
 PCM
PCB ∙
APC
ABC,
Students can choose per their Eligibility Conditions for different UG Programs mentioned in the Information Bulletin.

Scheme of Examination
The exams are conducted in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. The Question Paper for these Exams are of objective type, comprising Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). The aspiring Candidates are advised to read the Information Bulletin for further details. 
The Test of AIEEA (UG) 2022 is a single Test of 02:30 hours duration. Details of the Test are as given below:
