COMEDK Exam Important Points

 No third party interference

COMEDK management authorities cautions earlier and this time too that  some of the candidates are still depending upon third parties such as Internet Cafe, Education Consultants, random websites etc. for all COMEDK related activities, be it making application, downloading TAT or Rank cards, choice filling in the counseling and payment of fees. COMEDK again advises aspiring candidates and their parents/guardians against such third parties which may result in compromising your personal details which may fall in to wrong hands and you may incur financial loss.
The authorities does not take the responsibility for doing such activities by whatever means will be doing so at their own risk and consequences. COMEDK will not be liable for any loss or damage that may be suffered or incurred directly or indirectly in this regard. COMEDK advises the candidates to bring these activities to the notice of the concerned law enforcement authorities.
Architectural Entrance Test for Architectural Courses
There shall be no Entrance Test conducted by COMEDK for candidatesseeking admission to B. Arch Course
Is Chemistry required for B.E/ B.Tech Admission?
  • Chemistry is not important for admission for above mentioned admission in B.E/B.Tech admission. The eligibility criteria defines as follows-:
  • Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects.
  • The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE/VTU will be adopted
Will Rank Card be issued to everyone?
Rank Card will be generated only for those candidates who become eligible for admission to under Graduate Courses as per the regulations of AICTE / VTU.
Classification
Candidates are classified as General Merit and Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Classes (On Karnataka Basis) or those belonging to Hyderabad-Karnataka (HK) Region.
Reservation for Local Candidate
There is reservation for admissions to educational institutions for candidates who are ‘local persons’ for HK region as per Karnataka Government Order.
The candidates who have claimed Hyderabad-Karnataka status should submit a valid certificate along with a domicile certificate at the time of Counseling.
FILLING AND COMPLETING YOUR APPLICATION FORM
  • Fill in candidate details in the registration form
  • Generate and validate OTP for the registered mobile number
  • Click on register and complete the candidate registration
  • Receive SMS & E-mail with User ID/App no and Password
  • Logout and Login again using User ID & Password
  • Click on ‘Go to application’ Select exam that you are applying for
  • Enter your personal details Fill in category details Fill in academic details and upload documents in prescribed format and size as mentioned in the information brochure
  • Fill in examination city preferences and select payment details Verify all details in “Preview” Page Click on “Submit ” and complete payment
  • Check successful application status by logging in again Take print out of the application (for your reference only)
