The Oberoi hotel offers a three year programme for 12 pass out students. The education programme is named as STEP. The programme includes comprehensive on the job training at select oberio and trident hotels along with a correspondence Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Studies from India Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU)

All the students who take admission in three year STEP programme are enrolled into IGNOU Bachelor of Tourism Studies. The hotel investment includes all expenses on IGNOU course fee and books,accommodation,duty meals,transportation,medical insurance and uniforms.
Monthly Allowance
The selected candidates are paid a monthly allowance during the training period.
Education Programme
The programme includes a dedicated study day once a week, three weeks study leave to take IGNOU exam and three weeks annual leave.
On successful completion of the STEP programee trainee will receive a Bachelor of Tourism Stuides degree from IGNOU and a certificate of proficiency from the Oberioi Centre of Learning and Development.
Above all the programme prepares candidates’ to join the Oberoi Group as operation assistant at their Hotels

Eligibility
Candidate should be above 18 and below 20 years of age as on 15 August of the year of joining the programme
Candidates have passed 12 as on First July of the year of joining from a board recognized by the IGNOU India
Candidates have secured 70 per cent in English in Class 10. The equivalent in CBSE is a B2 Grade or a 7 Grade point or above
Selection Process
The application window will open in February and will continue till April and candidates have to register online. The hotel will assess the application and invite the selected candidates for interviews. In June last week of July first week the programme starts.
