DUal Degree simultaneously from DU-The Academic Council of Delhi University (DU) on Thursday approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degrees simultaneously – one in full-time physics mode and the other in open distance learning (ODL) mode. This was done by the guidelines of the National Education Policy 2020, the university said, adding that the proposal was approved 11 months after the committee was formed to recommend ways in which the process could be implemented.

Fifteen members of the committee signed a note opposing the proposal, saying the idea of students completing courses through ODL while enrolled in full-time courses was “untenable”. “The full-time nature of academic courses requires a full-time commitment and should not allow students to divert their attention from the main subject of study. Completing two courses simultaneously dilutes the academic process and adds academic value
No declaration of Marks for CBSE board students
CBSE will not be awarding overall division/distinction/aggregate. Further, if a candidate has offered more than 5 subjects the decision to determine the 5 subjects by the admitting institutions or employer.
The board does not calculate/declare/inform the percentage of marks. If the percentage of marks required for higher education or in employment if is any calculation that can be done by admitting institutions or employers.
