DU students can complete a semester at foreign university-Yes this is true that a DU student might have the option to complete a semester at a foreign university. A twinning Program proposal recommended by committee set up earlier this year it will be tabled at the academic council meeting which is schedule to take place on December 27.

This program will be applicable for the undergraduate student 2022-2023 batch onwards, these students will have the choice to complete their third, fifth or seventh semesters abroad, as per the panel’s recommendations. The credits earned by students at foreign institutes will be taken into account before they are awarded degrees by DU, said an official.
The students who complete their semester at foreign university will earn 12 to 26 credits, their degree will be given once they return to India.

The panel has also recommended scholarships for meritorious students from economically weaker backgrounds.
You must know that the Delhi University has around 90 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with foreign institutes for exchange programs workshops, and seminars, among other activities.
