DSSSB TGT Recruitment The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) is an organization responsible for conducting recruitment examinations for various Group “B” and “C” posts in the Delhi government, both teaching and non-teaching. It was established in 1998 to ensure fair and transparent selection of eligible candidates for various government departments and agencies within the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT). These teachers handle classes 6th to 8th for various subjects like Hindi, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science etc.

Stage 1: Written Examination (Computer-Based Test)

  • Mode of Examination: Online (Computer-Based Test)
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Number of Questions: 200
  • Total Marks: 200
  • Marking Scheme: Each correct answer carries 1 mark; no negative marking
  • Syllabus:
    • General Awareness: Current Affairs, Indian Polity, History, Geography, Economy, Science & Technology, etc.
    • General Intelligence & Reasoning: Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Problem-solving, Verbal Reasoning, etc.
    • Arithmetic & Numerical Ability: Number System, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Average, Profit & Loss, Simple Interest, etc.
    • English Language: Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence Structure, etc.
    • Hindi Language: Comprehension, Grammar, Vocabulary, Sentence Structure, etc.
    • Pedagogy (Teaching Methods): Teaching-Learning process, Classroom Management, Assessment & Evaluation, etc.
    • Subject-specific knowledge: Deep understanding of the relevant teaching subject (e.g., Mathematics, Science, Social Science)

Stage 2: Document Verification

  • Shortlisted candidates based on their performance in the written exam will be called for document verification.
  • During document verification, candidates need to submit original documents to verify their eligibility criteria, including:
  • Graduation degree and mark sheets
  • B.Ed degree and mark sheets
  • CTET certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile certificate (if applicable)
  • Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Photo ID proof
  • Recent passport-sized photograph
