The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 exam dates soon. CUET UG is a national-level entrance exam for admission to undergraduate programs in participating central universities and other institutions. The exam is likely to be conducted from May 2025, and the application process is expected to begin in the 2nd week of February 2025. CUET UG Exam Dates 2025, Release Soon
The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2025 exam dates are expected to be announced soon. The exam is scheduled to take place from May 14 to May 31, 2025 (Expected), and will be conducted in computer-based mode across 380 cities.
Challenges in CUET-UG: Technical and Logistical Issues (2022-2024)
- Technical Glitches and Score Normalization (2022) – The first edition of CUET-UG in 2022 encountered several technical difficulties, leading to the need for score normalization due to multiple shifts. Many students experienced login issues, server crashes, and disruptions during the examination process.
- Hybrid Mode and Logistical Issues (2024) – CUET-UG 2024 was conducted in a hybrid mode, incorporating both online and offline formats. However, unforeseen logistical complications led to the abrupt cancellation of the exam across Delhi just a night before it was scheduled. This caused inconvenience to thousands of aspirants and raised concerns over the reliability of the examination process
CUET UG Exam Mode 2025 New Changes
- Previously the exam was conducted in Hybrid Mode, but from 2025 Exam will be conducted in CBT Format for better reliability and security.
- Candidates will be allowed to opt for any subject in CUET-UG, Even if they have not studied it in 12th Standard.
- This changes aims to break strict disciplinary boundaries in higher education and provide students with more academic flexibility.
