CSIR UGC NET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the CSIR UGC NET December 2024 examination, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualification | Age Criteria |
Degree in B. Pharma/ B. E. / B. Tech. / MSC/ MBBS integrated BS-MS/ MS-4 years or degree equivalent. (with 55% score). If Candidates are pursuing last year in MSC can apply. But you must have 10+2+3. | 28 years (as on January 1, 2025) for JRF, while there is no upper age limit for LS |
CSIR UGC NET 2024: Educational Qualifications
- For Life Science – Degree in Life science (Completed degree).
- Chemical Science – BS/ B. Tech./ M. SC or Equivalent Qualification in the chemical science field only.
- Earth Science – B. Pharma/ B.E. / B. Tech./ M. Sc. Integrated BS-MS/ MS-4 years in Earth science.
- Mathematics – BSC/ B. Pharma/ B. E. / B. Tech integrated BS-MS / MS 4 years./ Equivalent degree in mathematics.
- Physical Science – Valid Degree in M. SC. Physics or BS-MS in Physics or equivalent degree.

- Part B: Subject-specific questions
- Part C: Advanced subject-specific questions

- Minimum Qualifying marks required for passing exam for General, EWS and OBC category Candidates is 33%.
