The third lecture in the lecture series of Aacharshala was organized by the Office of Dean of Student Welfare, University of Delhi, at the conference center of the university. The topic of this lecture was “Contribution of Delhi University in the development of human values”. Giving information in this regard, Dean of Student Welfare, DU, Prof. Ranjan Kumar Tripathi said that “Aacharshala” is one of the ambitious schemes of Delhi University Vice Chancellor Prof. Yogesh Singh. Aacharshala was inaugurated in November 2024 with the goal that the glorious tradition of the university should be reflected in the behavior of the students and the feeling of patriotism and compassion should develop naturally in them. The purpose of organizing this third lecture in the lecture series of Aacharshala was to underline the important role of Delhi University in human value-enhancement.

During the third lecture program, the chief guest and CEO of the Institution of Eminence of Delhi University, Prof. Rajiv Gupta gave an informative lecture on the integral role of educational institutions in human values, integrity and moral responsibility. Prof. Niranjan Kumar, Dean, Planning Division, Delhi University, who was present as a special guest in the program, discussed the importance of academic excellence in teaching, research and innovation, highlighting the role of humanities and social sciences in developing human values. Nand Kumaram, Managing Director, Digital India Corporation and CEO, National e-Governance Section, who was present as the guest of honour in the program, shared his views on technology and human values ​​with the students and teachers in a very simple, easy language and conversational style. He emphasized on the proper use of technology with dedication while following the ethical principles.

At the beginning of the program, Dean of Student Welfare Prof. Ranjan Kumar Tripathi welcomed the distinguished guests and in his powerful speech discussed in detail the importance of education and mental development as the main pillars for individual, social and national welfare. During the programme, a meaningful discussion was also organised to promote human values ​​among students in academic and professional fields. The programme was conducted by Joint Dean of Student Welfare Prof. Sangeeta D. Gadre and Deputy Dean of Student Welfare Dr. Chandra Prakash expressed his gratitude. Joint Dean of Student Welfare Prof. Hena Singh and Prof. Amit Bardhan, Deputy Dean Dr. Glory, Dr. Pramod Kumar Singh, Dr. Nidhi Chandra and many professors from various departments of Delhi University, along with a large number of students, researchers and teachers participated in the programme.
