CMAT 2025 registration started for MBA admission – CMAT 2025 registration process started on November 14 and candidates can apply by December 13, 2024. NTA conducts the CMAT exam for admission into various participating institutes. The Exam will be held May, 2025.  CMAT is a three-hour entrance Examination which is conducted as a computer-based test (CBT) mode to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments of Quantitative Technique and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, language Comprehension, General Awareness and innovation & Entrepreneurship, for admission to the management courses in the Academic Session 2025-26.

CMAT 2025

The CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to management programmes in the country. The Online Registration will start-in March 2025 and Application closes in April 2025.

How to apply?

Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system-generated Application Number. Upload scanned images of (i) a recent photograph (file size 10Kb – 200Kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background; (ii) the candidate‟s signature (file size: 4kb – 30kb); (iii) PwD certificate (file size: 50kb to 300kb), if applicable.

Pay the fee using SBI/HDFC Bank through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI and keep proof of fee paid.

Download, save and print a copy of the Confirmation Page of the Application Form (which would be downloadable only after the successful remittance of the fee) for future reference. v All the 3 Steps can be done together or at separate times.

The submission of the Application of a candidate could be considered as successful and his/her candidature would be confirmed only on the successful transaction/receipt of the prescribed application fee from him/her.

The Confirmation Page of the online Application Form will be generated only after successful payment by the Candidate.

In case the Confirmation Page is not generated after payment of the fee, then the candidate should approach the concerned Bank/Payment Gateway (in the helpline no. and email given in Annexure-I of the Information Bulletin) for ensuring the successful payment or for obtaining the refund of duplicate/multiple payments.

Display of Provisional Answer Key for Challenges

The NTA will display the Provisional Answer Key of the questions on the NTA website: cmat.nta.nic.in, with a Public Notice issued to this effect on the said website, to provide an opportunity to the candidates to challenge the Provisional Answer Keys with a non-refundable online payment of ₹ 200/- per question challenged as processing charges. The provisional Answer Keys are likely to be displayed for two to three days

Eligibility Criteria for CMAT-2025

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s Degree,

Candidates whose results will be declared before the commencement of admission for the academic year 2024-25, can also apply for CMAT-2024.

The candidate must be a citizen of India

CMAT 2025 Admit Card

The candidate will be able to download the Admit Card from the NTA website and appear for the Examination at the given Centre on Date, timing and discipline as indicated in their Admit Card.

In case candidates are unable to download Admit Cards from the website, they may approach the Help Line between 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Test Practice Centres (TPCs)

As per the guidelines of the Ministry of Education NTA has set up, established and created a network of Test Practice Centres for candidates, especially in remote and rural areas to enable them to practice and be comfortable in taking a Computer Based Test (CBT).

Results

The result will be compiled based on the Final Answer Keys. No grievance with regard to Answer Key(s) after the Declaration of the Result of CMAT-2024 will be entertained.

The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the Result of CMAT-2025. No Score Card will be dispatched to the candidates and the candidates are advised to download their Score Cards from the website: cmat.nta.nic.in only.

Documents required for filling out the Application form

  • A computer with proper internet connectivity
  • The particulars of a valid Government ID proof
  • The Date of Birth (as mentioned in the Class X Board Certificate)
  • Govt Identity Details like Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits)/Election Card (EPIC No.)/Passport Number/Ration Card Number/ Bank Account Number/PAN Number/ Other valid Govt IDs.
  • Educational/Qualification details
  • Scanned clear passport photograph in JPG/JPEG format (size between 10 kb–200 kb) either in colour or black & white with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against a white background
  • Scanned clear signature in JPG/JPEG format (size between 4 kb–30 kb)
  • PwD certificate (file size: 50kb to 300kb), if applicable..
  • List of City of your choice (Refer to Annexure-V for Cities)
  • Bank account details for payment of fee.
  • A valid e-mail Id as important communications will be made on this e-mail Id
  • A valid mobile number as important information via SMS will be sent to this number
  • A valid debit/credit card or Net banking account for ONLINE payment.

Fill in the basic information and note down the system-generated Application No.

  • Candidate‟s Name/ Mother‟s Name/ Father‟s Name:
  • Provide Candidate‟s Name, Mother‟s Name, Father‟s Name as given in the Secondary School Examination or
  • Equivalent Board/University Certificate in capital letters.
  • No prefix in the name of the candidate is allowed.
  • Date of Birth: dd/mm/yyyy Provide the Candidate’s date of birth as recorded in the Secondary School Examination or equivalent Board/ University Certificate.
  • Mobile Number and e-mail Address: Candidates must provide their own Mobile Number and e-mail address.

Note: Only one e-mail address and one Mobile Number are valid for one application

Few Important Points to note

The Candidates should fill in their complete postal address with PIN Code for further correspondence. The Candidate must ensure that the e-mail address and Mobile Number provided in the Online Application Form are their own (which cannot be changed later) as communication may be sent by NTA through e-mail or SMS.

The Candidate should not give the postal address, Mobile Number or e-mail ID of the Coaching Centre in the Online Application Form.

(In order to appear in CMAT, 2023, the candidates are required to apply „online‟. The Application Form other than online mode shall not be accepted. No change will be accepted through offline mode i.e. through fax/application including e-mail etc.

Online submission of applications may be done by accessing the NTA official website: cmat.nta.nic.in.

For applying to institutes

  • Candidates must apply separately to the desired CMAT-2025 participating Institutions with the CMAT Score 2025.
  • After that, each Participating Institution will release its respective cut-off CMAT Scores which a candidate should meet to get qualified for admission to that particular Institution.
  • Once qualified, the candidate will have to comply with the selection procedure of that particular Institution, It may comprise of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate will be based on the candidate’s performance in GD & PI.
