CLAT 2025. The exam date has been released, it will be held on December 1 2025.The application will be released in July 2024 (expectedly). CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) is a national-level entrance test for admission into a 5-year integrated LLB Course (BA. LLB, BBA. LLB, BSC. LLB, B.Com. LLB and LLM Courses). It is conducted every year by the Consortium of National Law Universities. Admission through CLAT will be offered into various undergraduate (UG) & postgraduate (PG) law courses. Examination is conducted one time every year through offline mode. Interested and Eligible candidates can get admission in different NLUs (National Laws Universities) across the country. CLAT 2025 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

A) For UG Courses:

• Candidates must be an Indian/ NRI/ PIO/ OCI to be eligible for CLAT exam, 2024.
• Candidates must pass 10th & 12th Passed out / equivalent exam from any recognized board with minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST) in 12th level.
• Candidates those are appearing in 12th class will also be eligible to apply.

B)  For PG Courses:

• The Candidates must have LLB Degree / equivalent examination from any recognized institute/ university. with minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in case of SC/ ST) in their qualifying exam.
• Final year appearing candidates will also be eligible to apply.

Age Limit: 

• There is no specific age limit criteria applying.

CLAT 2025 APPLICATION FEE:

Items Permitted Inside the Test Center

• Black or Blue Ball Point Pens.
• Transparent water bottle.
• If you want to come wearing a watch then you can wear only An Analogue Watch.  
• Candidates Government ID Proof (Kindly see the Annexure-I for the list of acceptable Government ID’s).

MARKING SCHEME:

• The Question Paper for the Undergraduate Five-Year Integrated Programme is for 120 marks.
• Every right/correct answer secures 1 (One) mark.
• Negative Marking, 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
• There shall be no deductions for Unanswered Questions.

IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION:

• A working email ID and mobile number
• Class 10^th and 12^th mark sheets.
• ID and address proof (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/PAN Card, etc.)
• Photograph- image size is 500KB, JPG/ JPEG Format.
• Signature- image size is 100 KB, JPG/ JPEG Format.
• State domicile Certificate is 2 MB, Pdf.
• SC/ST/OBC Category certificate. (If Applicable).
• PwD or BPL C candidate.

CLAT 2025 HOW TO APPLY:

1. First, Open Your Chrom and visit on the official website: https://consortiumofnlus.ac.in/

2. Now, click on the ‘Application Portal’ section.

3. Click on the Registration Button.

4.  Fill your name, phone no. etc. for Registration and Registered yourself and Verify Your Number and E-Mail Id through OTP Sending by Authority.

5. Now login yourself using your Registration number and Password.

6. Click on the ‘Apply’ link.

6. After doing so candidates should fill the online application form with all personal information Such as Personal Details, Communicational Details, educational Details, Chose Examination Cities required in the form.

7. Now, upload all the required Scan documents including Photographs, Signatures, Certificates, etc in PDF Format.

8. pay the application fee via online payment mode.

9. On the completion of all the steps mentioned above, an auto-generated mail will be sent to the candidate’s email ID.

10. After submission, take a printout of your application for future Reference.
