Cheating in INI CET Exam 2024–The candidates were waiting for the result which was scheduled to be declared on May 25 but the news of cheating in this exam has emerged.
The UK police has nabbed two AIIMs Rishikesh doctors and three individual for the cheating scam in the Institution of National Important Combined Entrance Test which is organized for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) by AIIMS. The exam was organized on May 19 this year.
Cheating in INI CET Exam 2024
The culprit reportedly from Haryana and Punjab were practicing at AIIMS Rishikesh. The police arrested these two medicos among five on Sunday evening for facilitating cheating from a car near Barrage Road in Rishikesh, as reported by TOI.
How they were helping the students- Aman Shivach (24) of Rohtak, Haryana, Vipul Gaura (31) and Jayant (22) from Hisar, Haryana have been arrested for allegedly using an instant messaging app to solve the question paper at an exam centre in Himachal Pradesh, as reported by Medical Dialogues.
The deal were struck with INI CET 2024 aspirant to help them solve the exam. For this, they promised to pay INR 2 lakh to each AIIMS Rishikesh doctor, allegedly involved in the cheating case.
Several mobile phones have been confiscated by Uttarakhand Police, INI CET books and a car where the incident took place. Delhi Police SSP, Ajai Singh further reported that the investigation is under process for any additional suspects involved in the INI CET 2024 cheating case.
Photographs of the question paper shot with a mobile phone was provided to the doctors through the app and they provided the answers, he said.
The 50 Lakh deal has been struck with the candidates to help them in exam. These accused had already received Rs 25 lakh from the candidates and the rest of the amount was to be paid to them after the publication of the exam results, the SSP said.
In 2022 one such case of paper leak of AIIMS exam came into light but court acquitted the accused
This similar case arose for exam in Uttar Pradesh where the candidates were impersonating. The paper was leaked before the exam began. There was a news of NEET UG paper leak but Supreme Court dismissed the plea and exam was conducted peacefully
