CG Election 2023 In the Assembly Elections-2023, voters will be able to vote by showing 12 other alternative documents apart from the voter ID card with photo. According to election officials, voters who are not able to present their voter photo identity card. 

They can show other documents to establish their identity. Provided that the name of the voter should be registered in the concerned booth.

These documents can be used: Aadhar Card, NREGA Job Card, Driving License, PAN Card, Indian Passport, Pension Document with photo, Service Identity Card with photo issued by Central / State Government / Public Undertaking / Public Limited Companies to their 

employees, Banks / Passbook with photo issued by post offices, smart card issued by RGI under NPR, health insurance smart card issued under the scheme of Ministry of Labor.

Can use Government Identity Card issued to MPs/MLAs/Legislative Council Members and Unique Disability ID (UDID) card issued to Persons with Disabilities by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India

Overseas voters will be identified at the polling station only on the basis of their original passport (and no other identity document).
