Central University of Andhra Pradesh has been started registration for the PG Courses on May 4, 2024 till May 31, 2024. Central University of haryana university of Andhra Pradesh , Anantapur invites online applications for registration in the prescribed format for the candidates who have appeared in CUET PG-2024 Examination Conducted by National Testing Agency for Admission to the  M.A. and M.Sc. Programmes.

Central University of Andhra Pradesh. The CUAP-Central University of Andhra Pradesh was established in 2018 in the district headquarters town of Anantapuramu in the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh after the partition of the state. The University offers both UG and PG courses. The University also certificate and diploma courses for which the notification is released on its official website.

Admission to the university is offered through an entrance test named CUET, it is a national-level test which is conducted every year in the month of May-June. The application process for admission is both online and offline for the applicants. is based on online mode and the application will be available on the university website. The qualified candidates are called for admission counselling.

B.Sc. (Hons) Economics Intake 50 students

B.A.(Hons) Political Science Intake 50 students

B.Voc. Travel and Tourism Management Intake 50 Students

Duration 3 years

A minimum of 45%of the aggregate marks in class 10+2 level of a recognized Board of School Education or an equivalent grade/NSQF certification level, admission to the first semester or level 4 of the bachelor’s vocational degree programme under NSQF can be made as per the following categorization unless otherwise prescribed by Advisory Committee of Bachelor of Vocational Degree Programmes.

Category-1: Candidates who have already acquired 50 prescribed NSQF certification levels in a particular industry sector and opted for admission in the Bachelor of Vocational degree programme under the same sector for which he/she was previously certified at the school level.

Category-2: students who have acquired the requisite NSQF certification Level but may like to change their sector and may enter in B. Voc course in a different sector.

Category-3: Students who have passed the 10+2 examination with conventional schooling without any background of vocational training.

Category-4: Students who have qualified for an equivalent examination from a polytechnic in the same field may also be considered eligible. b) Equal weightage, at par with other subjects, would be given to vocational subjects at +2 level while considering candidates for admission

B.Voc. Retail Management &IT 50 students

A candidate must have secured a minimum of 45% of the aggregate marks in class 10+2 level of a recognized Board of School Education or an equivalent grade/NSQF certification level, admission to the first semester or level 4 of bachelor’s

Vocational degree programmes under NSQF can be made as per the following categorization unless otherwise prescribed by the Advisory Committee of Bachelor of Vocational Degree Programmes

Relaxation of Marks

For admission to all UG & PG programmes, the minimum eligibility condition for SC/ST/PWD candidates is 5% less than the percentage for the General/EWS and OBC categories.

Reservation

The University has reserved 15% of the seats in each course for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and 7.5% for those belonging to the Scheduled Tribes with a provision for interchangeability between these categories, wherever necessary.

Candidates should submit a copy of the certificate of their caste/tribe from a Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tahsildar/Mandal Revenue Officer at the time of the interview, admission/counselling.

27% of the seats are reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer category) and 10% of the seats are for EWS candidates

Scholarships

The University provides Academic Excellence Scholarship to students in the form of a Tuition Fee Waiver. A minimum SGPA of 8.0 in a semester, discipline and conduct are the fundamental principles for the award of the scholarship in the University. Based on the unblemished conduct and behaviour, zero default in payment of fees and good performance in exams as stipulated, the names may be recommended for consideration to the Competent Authority in each semester for the award of scholarships.
