CAP Process Overview:
- Shortlisting: When CAT result is announced, each participating IIM will release its individual shortlist based on specific CAT cut-offs and other criteria.
- Registration: Candidates who are shortlisted are invited to register for the CAP.
- Personal Interview (PI): The whole process for this online he CAP primarily involves a Personal Interview round. Notably, the Written Ability Test (WAT) has been excluded in recent years.
- Final Selection: Post-interview, each IIM independently evaluates candidates based on CAT scores, PI performance, academic records, work experience, and diversity factors to finalize admissions.
Key Dates for CAP 2025:
- CAP Registration: Expected to commence in the third week of January 2025.
- Personal Interview Rounds: Likely to be conducted online from the second week of February to the first week of March 2025.
Important Considerations:
- Conducting IIM: Each year, one of the participating IIMs coordinates the CAP on a rotational basis. For instance, IIM Kashipur conducted CAP 2024.
- Individual Criteria: While the CAP streamlines the interview process, each IIM maintains its own criteria and weightages for final selection.
- Preparation: Candidates should prepare thoroughly for the Personal Interview, focusing on current affairs, personal background, and domain knowledge.
How to access the IIM Common Admission Process (CAP) 2025 Portal ? follow these steps:
- Visit the Official CAP 2025 Website:
- The specific URL for CAP 2025 will be provided by the coordinating IIM. As of now, the exact link hasn’t been announced. Please monitor official communications from the IIMs for this information. IIM Bodh Gaya is the official host for CAP 2025
- Register on the Portal:
- Click on the “New Registration” or “Register” option.
- Enter your CAT 2024 Registration ID, registered email address, and date of birth.
- Submit the details to receive an OTP on your registered email.
- Enter the OTP to verify your account.
- Set a password to complete the registration.
- Log In to Your Account:
- After registration, navigate to the “Login” section.
- Use your CAT 2024 Registration ID and the password you set to access your account.
- Complete the Application Form:
- Once logged in, fill out the CAP 2025 application form with the required details.
- Upload necessary documents, such as academic certificates and photographs.
- Review and submit the application.

- Registration Timeline: CAP 2025 registration is expected to begin in January 2025. Keep an eye on official announcements for exact dates.

Full yearly tuition fee waiver will be provided under three types of scholarship to 10% of both the batches (first year and second year) of the MBA Program
