Kanpur, Dec 8, 2024: IIT Kanpur Campus School held its much-awaited annual event “Saptarang 2024: Sports Fest” at the campus school premises on the first day. The colorful celebration came together for college students, parents and teachers in a grand display of sportsmanship, creativity and teamwork.

Dr. Vaibhav Srivastava (DOAD) and Dr. Neeraj Sinha (CSGB PI) using Dr. Braj Bhushan, Deputy Director, IIT Kanpur turned around the opening match inside. They began with a melodious rendition of the welcome song received through the third, fourth and fifth guidance college students.
Highlights of The Event
The day featured a wide range of interesting exhibits highlighting sports, health and environmental acceptance:
- Students from KG and Prep College captivated the target audience with their plays “Sports Song” and “Rocking Stars” performances, respectively, highlighting the joy of sporting activities.
- The college freshmen were inspired by their patriotic act, “Mar Salute Tirange Nu”.
- College students of Class II presented an interesting skit on “Clean India” using innovative materials.
- College third graders energized the mob with their dynamic Zooming Zumba.
- The fourth graders did Nurture the Nature and animated every body with their quiet drawings and paintings.
- Students in grades one through five established higher levels of communication during a phase of matching PT practice.
- A standout moment was the overall performance of the Ghoomar Dance, which narrated the inspirational journey of a woman cricketer who triumphed against all odds.
- Completed with the help of Grade 5 students, the final event, “Health is Wealth” offered a heartfelt tribute to Lord Ganesha with a mix of legium, hula hoops and aerobics

- Balance Caste (Group I) .
- Quoit Race (Class III) .
- Orange Hat Race (KG) .
- Mask Race (Prep) .
- Lakshya Sen Caste (Second Group) .

Adding to the exhilaration, the inaugural run of the a lot-expected Vande Bharat Express was additionally celebrated. Parents actively participated in the a laugh run, creating a fun and inclusive environment.
