Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the CHO post, candidates must fulfill the following eligibility conditions:Educational Qualification Age Criteria Candidates must have completed B.Sc. (Nursing) or Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with successful completion of the Certificate in Community Health for Nurses (CCHN) from a recognized university/institute.

Must be registered with the Nursing Council and should be eligible to work in the state of Bihar.Minimum Age – 21 Years Old. UR – 42 Years.OBC/BC (Male/Female) – 45 yearsSC/ST (Male/Female) – 47 Years.Age relaxation is applicable as per Bihar Government rules..
BSHS CHO 2025: Salary and Job Benefits
- Remuneration – Selected CHOs will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 25,000/- with an additional performance-based incentive up to Rs. 15,000/- based on targets achieved.
- Job Type – Contractual, but with the possibility of long-term service extension based on performance and policy changes.
- Other Benefits – Health insurance, regular training, skill upgradation, and experience in public health management.
