BPSC TRE-3 Paper Leak case-The exam was conducted on 15 March for selecting the teacher for the state. Bihar Police’s  EOU Unit (Economic Offences Unit) detained more than 270 candidates in Jharkhanad’s Hazaribagh in connection with the alleged paper leak case in the Bihar Teachers Recruitment Exam (BPSC TRE-3).

The raids were conducted in Hazaribagh on the tip-off the EOU received. In its operation, the EOU team found out that several BPSC TRE-3 candidates were brought from several places in Bihar and were supplied with question papers before the exam.

These candidates had to leave for their exam centre at 3 AM on the day of the examination i.e., March 15. Police detained all of them based on their interrogation, officials managed to nab certain members of the gang involved in the paper leak,” the statement was reported as saying. 

Bihar Police earlier arrested five in this connection who allegedly planned and executed the BPSC TRE paper leak. In its action, the police also recovered question papers, computers, laptops, printers and pen drives from their possession.

The investigation revealed that the culprits involved in the BPSC Paper Leak also charged a heavy sum from aspirants for providing the answer sheets of the exam. In the meantime, further investigation to dive deeper into the paper leak case is underway.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) conducted the BPSC Teachers Recruitment Exam (TRE-3) on March 15, 2024. The exam was conducted to shortlist suitable candidates for recruitment as Middle School Teachers in various state government schools across Bihar, the exam was held in the online mode at designated exam centres across the state.
