Bharat Electronic Ltd Project Engineer and Trainee Engineer-The registration is open for the appointment of candidates for these two posts. The post is temporary in nature and Trainee Engineer will be engaged for two year which is extendable to one year and Project Engineers will be engaged for an initial period of 3 years which may be extended up to a maximum of 01 year.

Selected candidates are required to obtain a Medical Insurance cover for a sum of Rs. 2 lakhs per annum for and Rs. 5 lakhs per annum for Life Cover Insurance and the same should be submitted at the time of joining

Selection
Selection will be through a Written Test for shortlisted candidates for the post of Trainee Engineers. For the candidates applying for Project Engineer, mode of selection will be through Written test followed by an Interview, only for those candidates who qualify in the Written Test. The venue for the Written Test/Interview will be at PDIC Bengaluru.
Candidates meeting the specified criteria as mentioned above in the advertisement will be communicated to attend the Written Test for 100 marks.
b. Question paper includes negative marking of ¼ mark for each response. In case tie in marks, the overall percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree will be considered to determine the merit.
c. The list of candidates shortlisted for the Written Test, will be hosted on the BEL Website. Candidates are required to comply with the instructions indicated in the Admit Card.
Project Engineer
Project Engineer: a. Candidates meeting the specified criteria as mentioned above in the advertisement will be communicated to attend the Written Test for 85 marks. b. Candidates will be short-listed for the interviews in the order of merit based on the performance in the written test, in the ratio of 1:5. Interviews will be conducted subsequently and will be for 15 marks. c. The list of candidates shortlisted for the Written Test/ Interview, will be hosted on the BEL Website. Candidates are required to comply with the instructions indicated in the Admit Card

Note
Trainee Engineer who has completed tenure of 2 years within BEL as Trainee Engineer may be considered for advancement to Project Engineer-I in the same Unit/SBU/R&D. d. However, if any candidate has completed three years of tenure as a Trainee Engineer in BEL and applied and selected for Project Engineer post he/ she will be directly inducted as Project Engineer –II. The overall tenure will be limited to 3 years only.
Qualfication
Trainee Engineers- I: Electronics/ Mechanical/ Computer Science Engineering discipline B.E./ B. Tech/ B.Sc. Engineering degree (4-year course) in relevant disciplines with PASS CLASS from recognized University/ Institution are eligible. 3.2 Project Engineers – I: Electronics/ Mechanical/ Computer Science/ Mechatronics Engineering discipline B.E./ B.
