Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment 2024 – The Assam Rifles Meritorious Sports Persons Quota recruitment is a unique opportunity for athletes who excel in their respective sports and wish to contribute to the country’s security. There are total of 38 vacancies for Male/ Female candidates. The Online Registration will start from September 28, 2024 and Candidates can apply for this application till October 27, 2024. Under this quota, athletes from various sports disciplines such as athletics, boxing, football, archery, Badminton, and many more are eligible to apply.

Assam Rifles Sports Quota Recruitment 2024: Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification 
• Matriculation From a Recognized board.

• Sports Qualification 
• Players who have participated in any International Competition/ National Competitions/ Inter-University Tournaments/ National Sports/ Games for Schools/ Khelo India University Games/ Khelo India Youth Games/ Khelo India Winter Games. 

• Physical Standards
• As this is a paramilitary force, candidates must meet specific physical standards, including height, chest measurements (for male candidates), and overall physical fitness. The physical standards are set to ensure that candidates can perform the duties required of a Rifleman/Riflewoman.

Age Criteria 

• Minimum age – 18 years.
• Maximum age – 23 years. 
• Age relaxation for Gen/OBC is 5-years and SC/ ST is Ten Years. 

Pay Scale

• Pay Scale and Other allowance will be as admissible to Assam Rifles Personnel as per 7^th CPC
