Assam CEE Entrance Exam  

The Assam Combined Entrance Examination (CEE) is a state-level entrance exam conducted for admission to various undergraduate engineering programs in colleges and universities across Assam.  The Assam CEE is conducted for admission into B. Tech and B.E. courses in engineering disciplines. Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) is conducted exam on behalf of the Government of Assam.

Educational Qualification 

• 10+2 education or equivalent with mandatory subjects in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
• With minimum 45% for general category  and 40% for reserved categories in their qualifying examination

Assam JMEE Entrance Exam

The Assam Joint MCA Entrance Examination (JMEE) is conducted for admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programs offered by various universities and institutions in Assam. The exam is organized by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), which acts on behalf of the Government of Assam for admissions to MCA programs.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university, with Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level or in their degree program.
• With minimum 45% for general category  and 40% for reserved categories.

Assam JLEE Entrance Test

The Assam Joint Lateral Entry Examination (JLEE) is conducted every year for admission into the second year of engineering degree programs in various colleges and universities across Assam. The Exam is conducted by the Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) on behalf of the Government of Assam. The JLEE Exam is conducted for diploma holders and candidates who have completed a B.Sc. in relevant fields for admission into the B.Tech/B.E. programs directly in the second year. 

Educational Qualification

• 3-year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution, or
• Hold a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as a subject at the degree level.
• With minimum 45% for general category and 40% for reserved categories. 

Assam B. Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam

The Assam B. Sc. Nursing Entrance Exam is a state-level examination conducted in every year for admission into the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) programs offered by various nursing colleges and institutions across Assam. The Exam is conducted by SSUHS (Srimanta Sankardeva University Health and Science) on the behalf of DME (Directorate of Medical Education), Assam. 

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have completed their 10+2 education or equivalent with mandatory subjects in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).
• With minimum 45%. (40% for reserved categories).
• Age Criteria – 17 to 25 years

Assam JAT Entrance Exam

The Assam Joint Admission Test (JAT) is an entrance test conducted for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It is State Level exam conducted by the director of Technical Education. The courses may include engineering, medical, and other professional degree programs.

Educational Qualification 

• 10+2 (for undergraduate courses) or relevant degree (for postgraduate courses) from a recognized board or university.
• Depending on course. 

AAU VET Entrance Test

The Assam Agricultural University Veterinary Entrance Test (AAU VET) is an university level entrance exam conducted by Assam Agricultural University (AAU) for admission to its Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.) program. This test is those candidates who seeking their career in veterinary entrance test. 

Educational Qualification 

• 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English from a recognized board.
• With minimum marks 50%. (45% for reserve category)
• Age Limit – 17 to 25 years.

Assam PAT Entrance Exam

The Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (PAT) is an State Level entrance exam. Its  conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Assam, for admission into various diploma courses in the polytechnic institutes in the Assam state.

Educational Qualification 

• 10th standard or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science.
• With minimum 40% marks for General Candidates and 35% for SC and 33% for ST Category. 

Assam Deled PET Entrance Exam 

The Assam Deled PET is an State Level entrance exam. Its Conducted every for admission into Two Years Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed.) Course for session 2024-26. The Assam Deled PET exam is conducted by State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT). The intake capacity of this course is around 4050 seats. 

Educational Qualification

• 10+2/ Equivalent.
• Age Criteria – 18 to 34 years. 

Assam CCE Entrance Exam 

The Assam Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) is conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) to recruit candidates for various Group A and Group B posts in the state government departments. These posts include Assam Civil Service (ACS), Assam Police Service (APS), Assam Forest service and other allied services.

Educational Qualification 

• Educational Qualification -Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Age Limit – General candidates: 21 to 38 years. (Age relaxation available for reserve categories)Bottom of Form.

Assam JE and AE Entrance Exam

The Assam Junior Engineer (JE) and Assistant Engineer (AE) Entrance Exam is conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) and the Public Works Department (PWD), to recruit Junior Engineers and Assistant Engineers for different government departments like civil, electrical, mechanical, etc. For this Candidates must have Diploma in Engineering in relevant field. 

Educational Qualification

• For Assam Junior Engineer (JE) – Diploma in Engineering in the relevant field (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) from a recognized institute.
• For Assam Assistant Engineer (AE) – Candidates must have Degree in Civil Engineering. 
• Age Limit- 18 to 38 years. (Relaxation available for SC/ ST/ OBC Candidates). 

Assam Stenographer Grade -I and Grade-II  Entrance Exam

The Assam Stenographer Grade-I and Grade – II Entrance Exam is conducted by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC). There shall be written test. This exam is usually for the recruitment of skilled candidates who can perform stenography (shorthand and typing) tasks.

Educational Qualification 

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Skill Test – Candidates should have stenography skills with a certain speed in shorthand and typing. Typing criteria is  100 wpm for shorthand and 40 wpm for typing. 
• 90wpm for language stenographers (Assamese, Bengali, or Hindi.)
• Age Limit – 21 to 38 years. (Age Relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC Candidates).

Assam Judicial Service Entrance Exam 

The Assam Judicial Service Entrance Exam is conducted by the Guwahati High Court. Its conducted to recruit candidates for judicial positions such as Civil Judge (Junior Division) and Higher Judicial Service (Grade-I and Grade-III). The exam is conducted every year to  selecting candidates for the judiciary. Selection process in this exam includes i.e. preliminary exam, mains exam and personal interview.  

Educational Qualification 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university.
• Age Limit 

• For Grade-III (Civil Judge, Junior Division) –  21 to 38 years.
• For Grade-I (Higher Judicial Service) – 35 to 45 years.
• Experience applicable for Grade – I positions  – 7 years of advocate in a court of law. 

Note: Relaxation in age is provided for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per government rules.

Assam APGCL Recruitment 

The Assam APGCL (Assam Power Generation Corporation Ltd.) Conduct various recruitments for positions like Assistant Manager(human Resource), junior Manager (Electrical), Junior Manager (Mechanical), Junior Manager (IT), and Junior Manager (Instrumentation).

Assam TET Entrance Test 

The Assam TET is conducted for Post Graduate Teachers under Secondary Education and for those applying to be teachers in Classes I to VIII. Eligibility for this recruitment, Candidates must have a graduate degree and a B.Ed degree. The exam mode is offline, and the application mode is online.
