The AP LAWCET COUNSELLING 2024 process is set to begin in July 2024, the results of AP LAWCET Exam has been announced on June 27, 2024. The Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) is a crucial exam for students aspiring to pursue law courses in Andhra Pradesh. The APSCHE will conduct 2 regular rounds of counselling for admission through AP LAWCET Counselling.

Required Documents for AP LAWCET Counselling

Candidates must bring all the necessary original documents and one set of photocopies to the designated counselling centers for verification. Required documents include:

How to Apply for Counselling Process

Online Registration: Candidates who have qualified for the AP LAWCET must first register for the counselling process on the official website i.e. https://cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/ and follow below given steps:

WEB OPTIONS ENTRY:

  1. Option Entry: After document verification, candidates must log in to the official counselling portal to exercise their web options. This involves selecting preferred colleges and courses based on their rank and availability of seats.
  2. Mock Allotment: A mock allotment may be conducted to give candidates an idea of the seat allocation based on their choices. This helps them make necessary changes before the final allotment.

SEAT ALLOTMENT:

  1. Seat Allocation – Based on the candidate’s rank, category, and web options, seats are allocated. The seat allotment result is published on the official website.
  2. Download Allotment OrdeR –  Candidates must download the provisional allotment order from the website.

REPORTING TO COLLEGES:

  1. Report to Allotted College – Candidates must report to the allotted college within the specified timeframe with the allotment order and necessary documents.
  2. Payment of Admission Fee – Pay the required admission fee at the college to confirm the seat.
  3. Final Admission – Complete the admission process at the college.

SECOND ROUND OF COUNSELLING:

  1. Second Round: If seats remain vacant after the first round, a second round of counselling is conducted.
  2. Procedure: The procedure for the second round is similar to the first, involving fresh option entry and seat allotment.
