AILET 2026 Exam Date: The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted annually by the National Law University (NLU), Delhi, for admissions to its BA LLB (Hons.), LLM, and PhD programs. Every year the exam is conducted in the month of December and this year for the academic year 2026-27, the AILET 2026 exam is tentatively scheduled for December 14, 2025 (Sunday).

- Release of Official Notification: July 2025
- Application Window Opens: The first week of August 2025
- Application Deadline: Third week of November 2025
- Admit Card Release: Fourth week of November 2025
- Exam Date: December 14, 2025
- Answer Key Release: Shortly after the exam
- Result Declaration: 2-3 days after the exam

Eligibility Criteria (AILET 2026 Exam)
- BA LLB (Hons.): Candidates must have completed their Class 12 with a minimum of 45% marks (42% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST candidates). There is no age limit.
- LLM: Applicants should possess an LLB degree (3-year or 5-year) with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates). No age limit applies
Application Process
The application form for AILET 2026 will be available online on the official NLU Delhi website (nationallawuniversitydelhi.in) starting from the first week of August 2025. Candidates are advised to complete and submit their applications before the third week of November 2025

Exam Pattern (AILET 2026 Exam)
The AILET 2026 exam will be offline and will have a duration of 120 minutes. The question paper will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions divided into three sections:
- Language: English
- Current Affairs & General Knowledge: 30 questions
- Logical Reasoning: 70 questions
- Understand the Syllabus and Exam Pattern: Familiarize yourself with the topics covered and the structure of the exam.
- Create a Study Schedule: Allocate specific time slots for each subject and adhere to your plan.
- Practice Regularly: Solve previous years’ question papers and take mock tests to assess your preparation level.
- Stay Updated: Regularly read newspapers
