The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi is set to conduct the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 8 in 2025. AIIMS NORCET 08 Admit Card – The Authority will release Admit Card One (1) week before the Exam Dates. The Exam will be held on April 12, 2025.
AIIMS NORCET 08 Prelims Exam Pattern Overview
The AIIMS NORCET 8 2025 Prelims exam will feature a question paper consisting of 100 multiple-choice questions, divided into 5 sections with 20 questions each. The total marks for the exam are 100, and candidates will have 18 minutes to complete each section, with a total exam duration of 90 minutes. The question paper will be in English, and candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer. However, there will be a penalty for incorrect answers, with 1/3rd marks deducted for each wrong answer.

AIIMS NORCET 08 Mains Exam Pattern Overview
The NORCET 08 Mains Exam consists a total of 160 MCQ Type Question, divided into four sections, each containing 40 questions. Candidates are allotted 45 minutes per section, making the total exam duration 180 minutes (3 hours). The Exam follows a negative Marking Scheme, Where 1/3 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer, while no marks deducted for unanswered questions. Candidates must carefully manage their time, as the exam will be automatically submitted after 180 minutes.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for NORCET 8 Selection
- Firstly, the date of birth will be considered, with older candidates given precedence. If this does not resolve the tie, the number of wrong answers or negative marks will be taken into account.
- Candidates with fewer wrong answers or negative marks will be ranked higher.
- The merit list will reflect these criteria, ensuring a fair and transparent selection process.
