AIBE Entrance Exam
The primary goal of the All India Bar Examination (AIBE Entrance Exam) is to evaluate the aptitude of an advocate to practice law in India. AIBE entrance examination is conducted to test the foundational skills of candidates, and it sets a standard minimum requirement for entry into the legal profession. The test aims to assess a candidate’s analytical capabilities and comprehension of fundamental legal knowledge.
Upon successful completion of the examination, the Bar Council of India will bestow the candidate with a “Certificate of Practice”.
The All India Bar Examination (AIBE) is administered in 40 cities throughout India. Candidates will have the option to choose from 11 languages in which he/she wants to take the exam. The examination will be conducted in a multiple-choice format, an open-book test.

On April 10th and April 30th of 2010, the Legal Education Committee and the Bar Council of India held meetings and passed the notification that enforced the All India Bar Examination.
