AFCAT Result 2024: The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is a prestigious examination conducted by the Indian Air Force to select candidates for various branches such as Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical). Candidates who have appeared in the exam they can download result from official website by filling Enrollment Number and Date of birth from official website. The AFCAT 2 exam for 2024 is a significant event for thousands of aspirants aiming to join the elite ranks of the Indian Air Force. AFCAT Result 2024 Selection Process

Stage-1

  1. Officer Intelligence Rating Test.
  2. Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PP & DT)

(Only state -1 passing candidate will call for stage-2 Process.)

Stage-2

  1. Physical Test
  2. Group Test
  3. AFSB Interview
  4. CPSS test (Computerized Pilot Selection System)

State-3

  1. Medical test

MARKING SCHEME:

  1. There will be MCQ Type Questions.
  2. 3-marks awarded for every correct answer.
  3. There will be 1-marks deducted for every wrong answer.

How to Check AFCAT Result 2024

Step-1: Visit the Official Website – Go to the Indian Air Force’s official AFCAT portal afcat.cdac.in.

Step-2: Login -Use your registered email ID and password to log in to your account.

Step-3: Find the Result Link – Navigate to the “AFCAT 2 2024 Result” link on the homepage.

Step-4: View and Download – Click on the result link to view your scorecard. Download and print a copy for future reference.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS RELATED TO AFSB INTERVIEW:

  1. The Call Letter along with your Admit Card would be the authority for you to report to the nominated Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) for Testing.
  2. Free boarding and lodging will be provided during your stay at the Board during the period of testing.
  3. You should aim to achieve an ability to run 01 mile (1.6 kms) in 10 minutes, 10 push-ups and 3 chin ups at the time of Physical Fitness.
  4. Permanent body tattoos are not permitted on any other body part either visible or non-visible part, except Small innocuous tattoos that are not prejudicial to good order and military discipline, are permitted e.g. religious symbols or names of near and dear ones.

Post-Result Declaration Steps

1. Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview

Candidates who qualify in AFCAT 2 will be called for the AFSB interview. The interview process is rigorous and is conducted over five days. It includes various stages such as the Officer Intelligence Rating Test, Psychological Tests, Group Tests, and Personal Interview. Here are the steps to follow:

  • AFSB Call Letter: Download the AFSB call letter from the AFCAT portal. It will contain details about the AFSB center, reporting date, and instructions.
  • Prepare Documents: Gather all necessary documents including educational certificates, identification proof, and the call letter.
  • Prepare for Interview: Brush up on current affairs, practice group discussions, and rehearse personal interview questions. Physical fitness is also crucial as certain tasks will test your physical capabilities.

2. Medical Examination

Candidates who clear the AFSB interview will undergo a thorough medical examination at designated medical centers. The medical examination ensures that candidates meet the required health and fitness standards to serve in the Air Force.

3. Final Merit List

The final merit list is prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the AFCAT exam, AFSB interview, and medical examination. Candidates who make it to the merit list will receive their joining instructions and will be commissioned into the Indian Air Force.

AFSB TESTING:

Stage-I. Officer Intelligence Rating Test alongwith Picture Perception and discussion test will be conducted on the first day. Stage-I test is a screening test and only those who qualify would undergo subsequent testing.

Stage-II. Psychological test will be conducted on Day 1(Evening) and the Group Tests and Interview would commence after document check for the next five days.

For Flying Branch. Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) would be administered to recommended candidates only. This is once in a lifetime test.

NOTE:

Candidates who have failed the CPSS/ PABT in an earlier attempt or a Flight Cadet suspended from flying training at Air Force Academy will not be eligible.
