CUSAT CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria

CAT CUSAT 2025 Eligibility criteria-The application form will open tomorrow for admission to UG,PG and PhD courses. Candidates can check the eligibility criteria for admission to all these courses.

BTEch

Pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Government of Kerala OR Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education OR Indian School Certificate

Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects securing a separate minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together

SC/ST of kerala should have passing marks 

SEBC candidates of Kerala State belonging to non-creamy layer category are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for the qualifying examination

BTech Marine Engineering

Total Seats-80

Candidates have passed 10+2 Government of Kerala OR Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education OR Indian School Certificate Examination, (Class XII) conducted by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi OR any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60% marks and minimum 50% for Mathematics alone. Should have passed English at 10th or 12th Standards with 50% marks (No relaxation to SC/ST and SEBC Candidates).

B.Tech. Naval Architecture and Ship Building (NA and SB)

Total Seats-40

Candidate has passed in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Government of Kerala OR Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education OR Indian School Certificate Examination, (Class XII) conducted by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi OR any other examination accepted as equivalent 

Percentage-First Class (60% marks) with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as subjects of study and with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics as well as for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. 

• Candidates belonging to Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities are eligible for applying, if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination. • SEBC candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to non-creamy layer are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination.

B.Tech. Polymer Science and Engineering

Total Seats-20

Candidate has passed in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Government of Kerala OR Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education OR Indian School Certificate Examination, (Class XII) conducted by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi OR any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto securing a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. 

• Candidates belonging to Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities are eligible for applying, if they have minimum pass marks in the qualifying examination. 

• SEBC candidates of Kerala State who are certified as belonging to non-creamy layer are eligible for 5% relaxation in the minimum required marks for qualifying examination

B.Tech. Instrumentation and Control Engineering

Candidate has passed in the Higher Secondary Examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Government of Kerala OR Senior School Certificate Examination conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education OR Indian School Certificate Examination, (Class XII) conducted by Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi OR any other examination accepted as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination accepted as equivalent by the Cochin University of Science and Technology.

Percentage The candidate shall have secured a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. 

• Relaxations in marks shall be followed for candidates belonging to SC/ST and socially and educationally backward classes as prescribed by the University. • The candidates shall also satisfy the conditions regarding physical fitness as may be prescribed by the University.

Admission BTech Marine Engineering 

Candidate must note that admission is through the rank list secured by the test conducted by Indian Maritime University

Integrated MSc

Chemistry,Biology,Statistics,Mathematics,Environment Science and Technology,photonics,Computer Science,Physics

For Biology and Environment Science and Technology- Biology along with chemistry and physics 

And for rest of the courses it Physics,Chemstry and Mathematics in 10+2

BSc LLB 

Candidates should studied Mathematics or computer Science with 65 percent marks

Bcom LLB/BBA LLB

Candidate from commerce or arts side should have 55 percent marks and students from Science stream should have 60 percent marks

LLB Three Years

50 percent marks in Graduation

LLM/LLM IPR

Pass LLB with 50 percent marks
