The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) is expected to release the application form for the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TN TET) 2025 in March 2025. The TN TET exam is a mandatory qualification for teachers seeking employment in government-aided schools and institutions in Tamil Nadu. To Apply candidates needs to pay registration fee. The TN TET are held in offline mode for 2 papers- Paper-I (for Classes 1 to 5) and Paper-II for classes (6 to 8). TN TET 2025: Educational Qualification
For Paper I (Classes I to V) | Qualification: Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks. Diploma: Candidates must have passed the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.E.Ed.) or Diploma in Education (D.Ed.). B.El.Ed: Candidates who have passed the Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) are also eligible. |
For Paper II (Classes VI to VIII) | Qualification: Candidates must have passed Bachelor’s Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com.) with at least 50% marks. The application fee is ₹ 500 for general candidates and ₹ 250 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. (May be changed).
The exam pattern consists of two papers (Paper I and Paper II) with multiple-choice questions.
The TN TET certificate is valid for 7 years from the date of declaration of results.
The Registration Process will be started from the month of March 2025.
