The exam dates are released by TGCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education) of the B.Ed. entrance exam will be conducted on June 01, 2025 (Sunday) by Kakatiya University. The Merit list will be prepared on the basis of TG EDCET 2025 Score. The Rank Obtained in TG EDCET 2025 is valid for entry into B. Ed. Course for the academic year 2025-26 only. Candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test and can fill out the application form online. TG EDCET 2025: Educational Qualification
- Candidates must be Indian Nationality.
- Candidate must have a Graduation degree in any stream such as BA/ BSc/ BSc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BE/ BTech/ BCA/ BBM or post-graduation in the relevant subject or five-year integrated course in the relevant subject of methodology or any other equivalent qualification
- Percentage- At least 50 per cent aggregate marks. For the SC/ ST/ BC (A/B/C/D/E)/ PH category minimum mark required in the qualifying exam is 40 per cent.
- Candidates securing a minimum of 55% marks in BE/ BTech with Science/Mathematics as one of the subjects or any other equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply.
TG EDCET 2025: Age Criteria
- A minimum of 19 years of age as of July 1 of the year in which TSEdCET notification is out
- There is no upper age limit required to appear for the TSEdCET exam.

MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BL/ LLB/ BA (Languages)/ BOL and any other such professional course are not eligible for B. Ed admissions via TGEdCET;

TG EDCET 2025: Important Instructions Related to Exam
- The Candidate should preserve the hall ticket to produce it at the time of test and later at the time of entry into the course.
- Applicants should download hall tickets from website https://edcet.tsche.ac.in.only
- Candidates will not be allowed into the Examination Hall on the day of the Examination after Commencement of exam.
- The selection of candidates and allotment to colleges will be on the basis of rank obtained at the Common Entrance Test and to the conditions laid down.
