A Junior Consultant (Training) in National Instructional Media Institute-Candidates can apply for the Junior Consultant. The selection will be on the basis of entrance test. The candidates would be engaged in a National Skill Training Institute (NSTIs)/Central Staff Training and Research Institute (CSTARI) for imparting training to the NSTI trainees in theory and practical related to its trade/preparation of syllabus. They will be engaged for the eleventh months and can be further extended.

Eligibility
Candidates have bachelor’s degree either in Technology / Engineering / Vocational Education (B.Tech /B.E/B.Voc) in a relevant branch from AICTE/UGC/NBA recognized Engineering College/University or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in relevant field.
Or
You have passed 3 Year Diploma in a relevant branch from AICTE/UGC/NBA/SBTE recognized institute with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
Or
Ex-serviceman from Indian Armed forces with 15 years of service in related field as per equivalency through DGR. Candidate should have undergone methods of instruction course or minimum 02 years of experience in Technical Training institute of Indian Armed forces.
Or
National Trade Certificate (NTC)/ National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) from National Council of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET previously NCVT) in relevant field with 7 years of relevant post qualification work experience.
Junior Consultants (JCs) will be engaged for a period of eleven months from the date of Engagement.
The services of JCs may be extended for a period of another 11 Months with a break of 1 Month if found suitable by the competent authority.
Junior Consultants shall be engaged on a full-time basis and would not be permitted to take up any other assignment during the period of their engagement.

Selection Process
First candidates have to submit the application form online and pay the application fee of Rs.500. The application would be secrutinized and admit card would be released. A CBT would be conducted on all India basis.
Practical Exam will be conducted region wise for selected candidates
Result would be declared after calculation of score card
