The Indian Army has started registration from October 07, to apply for its TES 53 course in 2024. This scheme is a gateway to becoming a commissioned officer in the Indian Army. Candidates can apply for this application till November 05, 2024. This program is for people who have finished their 10+2 education in Physics, Chemistry, and Math and want to join the Indian Army as officers.

Indian Army TES 53 Course 2024: Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 60% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
- with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM)
- JEE Mains – For the TES 53 course, it is now mandatory for candidates to have appeared in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Mains.
Age Criteria
- The candidate should be between 16½ to 19½ years of age. Specifically, the candidate must not be born before July 2, 2005, and not after July 1, 2008.
Training TES 53 Course 2024
Once selected, candidates will undergo four years of rigorous training. The first year will be at a technical institution, followed by three years of military and technical training at the IMA. After successful completion of the training, candidates will be granted a Permanent Commission in the Indian Army in the rank of Lieutenant.
